# Chests

Supercharge your poker experience and unlock exciting prizes.

Every time you level up in [Poker Arcade](/games/poker-arcade.md), you'll receive a Chest that contains random rewards. Chests also come in different rarities—the higher the rarity, the higher the potential for a bigger prize!

### What Are Chests? <a href="#what-are-chests" id="what-are-chests"></a>

Chests are in-game rewards that contain randomized prizes.

There are currently 3 types of Chests:

* **Common:** Free to open.
* **Rare:** Costs 1 badge to open.
* **Legendary:** Costs 2 badges to open.

To open higher rarity chests, you’ll need to spend Tournament Badges which you can get by playing [Arcade Mode](/games/poker-arcade/arcade-mode.md) and placing 1st or 2nd in any tournament.

Your Player Level determines the chances of what type you get. The higher your level, the greater your chance of scoring a higher rarity chest.

| Bronze (Levels 1 to 20)    | 100%         | 0%         | 0%              |
| Silver (Levels 21 to 40)   | 50%          | 30%        | 20%             |
| Gold (Levels 41 to 60)     | 30%          | 40%        | 30%             |
| Platinum (Levels 61 to 80) | 10%          | 50%        | 40%             |
| Diamond (Levels 81+)       | 0%           | 40%        | 60%             |

### What Can You Get from Chests? <a href="#what-can-you-get-from-chests" id="what-can-you-get-from-chests"></a>

Unlocking chests can earn you various prizes such as:

* **Tickets:** Use Tickets to enter tournaments.
* **Tournament Badges:** Spend Tournament Badges to open chests or redeem prizes from the Arcade Prize Shop.
* **Emotes:** Equip emotes to perform short actions at the tables or in the Metaverse.
* **Accessories:** Enhance your avatar with cosmetic items.
* **Wearables:** Customize your avatar’s appearance. Several of these wearable prizes are exclusive to Chests and you can’t get them anywhere else.

Each chest comes with 2 items. The higher the rarity, the greater your chances of winning bigger and rarer prizes.&#x20;

### How to Open Chests <a href="#how-to-open-chests" id="how-to-open-chests"></a>

**Step 1:** Sign into the [Poker Arcade app](https://arcade.poker/). In the Player Hub, select the Chest icon to see your available Chests.

**Step 2:** Select a Chest you want to open.

**Step 3:** In the Chest Details menu, select **Open Chest** to continue.
