# Chests Supercharge your poker experience and unlock exciting prizes. Every time you level up in [Poker Arcade](https://docs.decentral.games/games/poker-arcade), you'll receive a Chest that contains random rewards. Chests also come in different rarities—the higher the rarity, the higher the potential for a bigger prize! ### What Are Chests? Chests are in-game rewards that contain randomized prizes. There are currently 3 types of Chests: * **Common:** Free to open. * **Rare:** Costs 1 badge to open. * **Legendary:** Costs 2 badges to open. To open higher rarity chests, you’ll need to spend Tournament Badges which you can get by playing [Arcade Mode](https://docs.decentral.games/games/poker-arcade/arcade-mode) and placing 1st or 2nd in any tournament.

Your Player Level determines the chances of what type you get. Unlocking chests can earn you various prizes such as: * **Tickets:** Use Tickets to enter tournaments. * **Tournament Badges:** Spend Tournament Badges to open chests or redeem prizes from the Arcade Prize Shop. * **Emotes:** Equip emotes to perform short actions at the tables or in the Metaverse. * **Accessories:** Enhance your avatar with cosmetic items. * **Wearables:** Customize your avatar’s appearance. Several of these wearable prizes are exclusive to Chests and you can’t get them anywhere else. Each chest comes with 2 items. In the Player Hub, select the Chest icon to see your available Chests.

**Step 2:** Select a Chest you want to open.

**Step 3:** In the Chest Details menu, select **Open Chest** to continue.
