Tominoya is Decentral Games' most recent and Japanese-themed casino located in the Vegas City district of Decentraland. The scene features two floors with three wings each, and a conference center upstairs where live video streams are held.
The casino features 40 NFTs, each with either a roulette table or 4 slots. Each wallet holding a Tominoya NFT earns a passive monthly rent payment based on the game volume from that parcel. Since the games are initially in MANA, the passive income is distributed in MANA. Below is a map of the parcels available for purchase and trade.
The purchaser of each Tominoya NFT becomes the landlord of that physical space within the casino. Each month a holder receives 30% of the profits generated from the games on their parcel(s). Decentral Games will provide a NFT dashboard that displays the total performance and direct profits from your parcel you may view after signing in with the wallet that holds the NFT on our site.
From the profits generated, the NFT holder must pay the token renewal fee at 70% of their proceeds directly to Vegas City for leasing the LAND. For example, for every 1,000,000 MANA generated from the games on a parcel, the token holder receives 300,000 MANA and from this must pay 70% to Vegas City until the renewal fee is paid for that timeframe. Once the lease renewal cost has been paid, the NFT holder will get 100% until the end of that two year period, then the cycle will begin again.
This technique allows room to establish market prices for the LAND leases in an untested market. Because we cannot gauge exactly when and how much revenue will be generated, this formula guarantees Tominaya NFTs will generate passive revenue from each game played on the parcel. The landlord/NFT holder can opt out at any time by transferring or selling the Tominaya NFT on any ERC721 compatible marketplace such as OpenSea or the Decentraland marketplace. If so, the terms are then inherited by the new owner.
Each non-fungible token is fundamentally a Vegas City lease. However this lease only requires one upfront payment from the purchaser. Renewal monies start to accrue from the beginning of the lease term.
